So its been a fairly crazy couple of weeks since I came back from my holiday in Malta. I moved to London to do some freelance work for a VFX company called Jellyfish pictures. Cheers Rob, Ha ha- I should of worded that better. I'm back in Dublin now. I helped them set up there Match-Moving/Tracking pipeline and got a good few shots out for them. I got offered a pretty sweet contract too. The only problem was that it was too short. It was for one and a half months and the minimum you can rent over there is 2-3 months and renting is expensive. So I didn't want to rent somewhere unless I knew i was definitely going to have work. They were cool about it tho and said I should get a contract with a bigger studio over there for longer and then I might be more stable to take there short-term contracts.
London is pretty cool. I could see myself going over again if things don't work out here soon.
Ah i see, well there is always brownbag? Maybe they could send you some work with other guys later on.
Yeah i would love to give london a go sometime it sounds like a blast.
